Using Import

From AMember Pro Manual

Jump to: navigation, search

aMember Pro has built-in import feature that allows you to import your existing customers and subscription information to aMember.

Input file must be in CSV (comma-separated values) format. Although it sounds complex, it is just a text file with fields separated by commas or semicolons, or pipes (|). For example

 john;my_password;john@gmail.com;John;Simpson
 elen;111111;elen@yahoo.com;Elen;Thompson

You can create such file from many programs, particullary Microsoft Excel can save files in CSV format.

aMember Pro can understand and import virtually any contents inside the CSV file, if it has mandatory fields present.

To import a file:

  • Click aMember CP -> Import
  • The Import. Step 1 of 4: define input format screen opens
